FaithPost publishes introductory educational material about religions, worldviews, communities, practices, sacred texts, holidays, and religious literacy. Our purpose is to help readers begin learning with clarity, context, and respect.

Our guides describe rather than advocate. They are not religious, legal, medical, mental-health, or professional advice, and they are not a substitute for learning directly from a community, qualified teacher, or primary source.

We aim to ground factual statements in primary sources where appropriate, including official community, institutional, archival, or text-based sources. We may also use reputable academic, museum, library, and nonprofit resources for historical and contextual material.

We link to sources when a claim needs verification, especially for dates, quotations, statistics, historical assertions, and specific observances. A source can provide context without representing every community's lived experience; we try to name variation and limits rather than present one account as universal.

Before publication or a material update, FaithPost aims to review a guide for clarity, respectful framing, factual support, and recognition of internal diversity. The depth and type of review depend on the topic and the sources available.

We do not imply that every page has been reviewed by a named scholar, clergy member, or community representative. When FaithPost can verify a contributor or reviewer identity and has permission to publish it, that information should appear with the guide. Until then, content uses organization-level editorial attribution.

We revisit content when we receive a credible correction, identify a material error, find that a source needs updating, or learn that a guide needs more context. FaithPost does not promise a fixed review interval; page dates and update notes should be used only when they are available and accurate.

If we make a material factual correction, we aim to correct the guide and update its displayed date or note when the change is published. We may decline requests that ask us to remove accurate, supported context, but we welcome evidence that improves accuracy, specificity, or respectful representation.
